Shel Horowitz’s award-winning 2003 book, Principled Profit: Marketing That Puts People First, has been withdrawn from the market with publication of his newer book, Guerrilla Marketing Goes Green: Winning Strategies to Improve Your Profits and Your Planet (co-authored with Jay Conrad Levinson), as required by Shel’s contract with John Wiley & Sons. The new book includes almost everything in the older one, plus a very extensive chapter on Green marketing, examination of newer marketing and sustainability resources including social media, information updates in every chapter, many examples and case studies ranging from solopreneurs to grassroots community organizations and major nonprofits, Fortune 100 companies, and more.
While the Principled Profit book is no longer available, this site still has many resources for you, including a nice collection of articles on ethics in business, information for the media, information for meeting planners on available speeches and presentations on Green and ethical business success, and archives going back to 2003 of the monthly Positive Power of Principled Profit newsletter (generally featuring a profile of one socially responsible business and one book on ethics, Green principles, customer service, etc. in each issue.)
