Wonderfully Scathing Attack on “Jargonauts”
|
Jargonaut: noun: someone who expresses him or herself in meaningless babble. Word invented by Shel Horowitz (that’s me) as I commented on Drayton Bird’s Bird Droppings blog. He has a fabulously funny essay about jargonauts. Go read it. |

Shel specializes in affordable, ethical, and effective marketing for authors, publishers, small businesses, nonprofits, and community groups. Copywriter, marketing and publishing consultant, speaker, and award-winning author of seven books.

Ooops–egg on my face! I should have looked before I claimed credit for inventing “jargonaut.” William Safire used it (same meaning) all the way back in 1980.
